Research Network

The team of DBA is constantly expanding its international network of researchers through offering opportunities for research cooperation on specific topics or via specific projects like the edited book on Doing Business in Africa, where scholars from all over the world are contributing. Also, by participating and presenting in academic conferences new contacts are established and ideas generated as well as provided. 

A specific focus lies on expanding the network to African scholars. To that end, DBA won funds from the DAAD Erasmus+ program for the years 2023-2025. This allows for 36 months of research and teaching exchange with Addis Abeba University (Ethiopia), GIMPA (Ghana), University of Rwanda. PhD students, postdocs and professors from the DBA team and the African partner university will annually visit each other in order to establish specific research cooperation. During the stay some lectures or workshops are conducted.
